Basic Itinerary
1. Welcome & Refreshments
You'll be warmly greeted by your instructor and enjoy a welcome drink to start your experience.
2. Udon Dough Making
Make your own udon dough by mixing the ingredients, kneading it with your hands, and stepping on it to create the perfect texture — a fun and traditional method!
3. Mentsuyu Demonstration
While the dough rests, enjoy a demonstration of how to prepare mentsuyu, the savory dipping sauce that brings out the best in udon.
4. Dessert Making: Fruit Daifuku
Make fruit daifuku, a chewy rice cake filled with fresh fruit — a delightful Japanese sweet.
5. Tempura Demo & Hands-on Cooking
Learn how to prepare and fry crispy vegetable tempura. You can even enjoy the freshly fried pieces right away!
6. Rolling & Cutting the Udon
Roll out your rested dough and cut it into noodles using special tools.
7. Boiling & Chilling
Boil your handmade noodles and chill them in ice water to get that perfect chewy texture.
8. Udon and Tempura Tasting & Mealtime
Sit down and enjoy your meal — your handmade udon noodles with dipping sauce, and crispy tempura on the side.
9. Dessert & Matcha Experience
End your meal with your handmade fruit daifuku and enjoy a traditional matcha tea experience.
10. Wrap-up & Farewell
Take a moment to browse any souvenirs, say goodbyes, and take home warm memories of your culinary adventure.
